STAGE / 01 · QUALIFYING RACE

Qualifying
Stage

All registered and approved teams participate. Each team receives 3 official attempts on the obstacle-laden track. The top 15 teams with the fastest valid runs advance to the Final.

STAGE / 02 · GRAND FINALE

Final
Showdown

Conducted exclusively among the 15 qualified finalist teams. Precision engineering meets maximum speed to decide the champion of LiRO 2K26.

01 / ROBOT REQUIREMENTS

Autonomous Operation

The robot must be 100% capable of autonomous line following using onboard sensing and control circuitry during all official runs.

  • Strictly NO manual or remote operation permitted.
  • Pre-race technical safety inspection required.
02 / TRACK SPECIFICATIONS

Track & Obstacles

The competition track features a smooth white surface with a black line and includes tactical obstacles and challenging paths.

  • Marking arrows indicate intended path direction.
  • Robot must maintain continuous line tracking.
03 / RACE PROCEDURE

3 Official Attempts

Each team is allotted 3 official attempts. The fastest valid run determines qualification and leaderboard rank.

  • Physical human intervention invalidates the run.
  • Only official judge timing is recorded.
04 / SAFETY INSPECTION

Electrical & Safety

Participants are fully responsible for the safe handling of batteries and electrical/electronic systems.

  • Robots deemed unsafe must be fixed prior to race.
  • Follow all safety protocols from event marshals.
05 / TEAM COMPOSITION

3 Members / Team

Each team consists of 3 registered engineering students. Only verified members may represent the team on race day.

  • Any member changes must be pre-approved.
  • Participation certificates for all registered members.
06 / FAIR PLAY & JUDGING

Official Authority

Event officials supervise run validity, track rules, and fair play. Decisions of the judges and faculty committee are final.

  • Track interference results in disqualification.
  • Respectful and professional conduct required.
